Shooting for ‘3D Sex and Zen’, the originally titled sequal to the 1991 ‘Sex and Zen’ is to commence in April this year. Chairman Stephen Shiu Jr. of the Hong Kong based One Dollar Production provides us with some more info:

“Just imagine that you’ll be watching it as if you were sitting beside the bed. There will be many close-ups. It will look as if the actresses are only a few centimeters from the audience. Stop not learning Chinese - ChinesePod

Yesterday our government admitted that the daughter of Robert Mugabe, king president of Zimbabwe, is currently studying at the Hong Kong University. The lovely 20 year old Bona Mugabe enrolled last autumn under a different name. Emily Lau, a senior Hong Kong legislator, on Sunday called for a review over the decision to admit Miss Mugabe, saying many people in the city found her father’s regime “obnoxious”.

Oh c’mon, should we really use such strong and offensive words? Zimbabweans are generally in good health, have plenty of toilet paper and elections run smoothly. Well ok.. road signs may be a bit unclear at times. But the Mugabe family is concerned about our economy as well and tries to help out as much as they can. We know Donald approves.

The column ‘Politically Incorrect’ by Chip Tsao in HK Magazine always gives us some food for thought. Chip is generally known for his conservative views, but also for his humor and sarcasm. This week he provides an interesting alternative view on ex-President Bush, by arguing that Bush was a very good president by every possible Chinese moral and cultural standard. On Iraq for example: ‘The invasion of Iraq not only liberated the Iraqi people – they’ve also achieved a remarkable 30% GDP growth rate.’ Bush liberated their productivity!

30%.. wowsy. You reckon that may have something to do with the devastating United Nations financial and trade embargo from 1990-2003 Chip? There is more wisdom though: ‘Then comes the ‘it’s all about oil’ charge. Of course it’s all about oil – we have to make it cheap enough form someone like Noam Chomsky to drive to Wal Mart every weekend.’ Chip apparently has issues with lefty Chomsky, an outspoken critic of Bush and U.S. foreign policy in general. But that aside.. oil has indeed remained supercheap Chip.

Recently spotted on www.asmallworld.net, the private online community exclusive to rich, successful and attractive people. Bet you wish you were on it, just like the Dark Side team and our friend Ken here:

Notorious among nerds for throwing them in the refreshing Hong Kong waters, Eric Tse Hoi-wing, actor and member of Cantopop group E02 has recently declared that our Chief Executive Donald is… cheap. The SCMP reports that 煲呔曾’s visit to the Lunar New Year Fair in Victoria Park this year resulted in about HK$ 1,000 in purchases of various items (a rather popular thing to do nowadays among government officials to stimulate spending by the public), including one undoubtedly ghetto trucker hat designed by a local artist.

The proceeds of this sale went to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which aids children with life-threatening medical conditions, making it an ‘especially meaningful’ purchase as stated by Mr. Tsang. Good to know Donald, we almost thought you’d show up in Beijing next time spotting your latest wardrobe addition. However, our Cantopop heartthrob firmly expressed discontent: ‘he should have bought one of each design, not just one cap!’

What was our Chief Executive thinking? Those 120 bucks for one cap don’t make any difference. Instead, buying five would have made the world a whole lot better. We hope you can sleep at night Donald.
