Junk trips lead to stronger bones
Yesterday a survey was published in the Sunday Morning Post which revealed the not so shocking fact that Hong Kongers don’t get enough sunshine, despite living in one of the sunniest towns in the world. In fact, 6 out of 10 people in subtropical Hong Kong apparently suffer from a lack of vitamin D, which could lead to softer bones and ultimately, fractures and osteoporosis.
Obviously, our lifestyle is the major reason behind the vitamin D deficiency as we’re forced to work long hours in tall buildings, live in flats in direct vicinity of malls and cab/MTR/minibus our asses to the office every morning. Plus, weekends are used to recover from the visit to Drop/Dragon-I/Volar/Homebase/Fenwicks the night before. Not to worry though. Despite the shitty weather today, junk season is coming up soon, giving us another good reason to get hammered and practice our pole-dancing skills (pic, pic and pic).
