Today police in Cambodia took a 37-year old high school teacher, Moung Chhavry, into custody for sending a self-made hand grenade as an anonymous wedding gift to an ex. Chhavry claimed he and the bride were a couple while he was ‘teaching’ her in grade 10 and now faces up to 20 years in cozy Cambodian prison if convicted. Quite disturbing on a few levels. But then again, love makes us do silly things and occasionally some heavy fire power is needed to express our feelings.
