Monster fish in lakes at Hong Kong parks
This ugly fella and his buddies are apparently found in our parks:
The fish in question, Atractosteus Spatula or Alligator Gar, can grow up to 10 feet long and appears to get dumped in the artificial lakes of parks when they grow too big. One was caught last Friday in Tak Wah Park, bringing the total to 16 across Hongkers.
As you might be Chinese and inclined to eat any animal regardless of its looks, here’s a few recipes. Happy fishing.
