24Herbs’ “Hu Ge Clea Va Ge” FAIL
Hong Kong’s hip hop darlings, 24Herbs, just released a new music video. As you probably already figured out, we find it a bit hard to take Asian men dressed as gangsta rappers very seriously, especially with lyrics like ‘“bow-wow-wow, yippee yo yippy yay we wanna get your support before we’re OK.”
“Cheap shot” you might be thinking, as even (former) American hip hop groups make use of dubious lyrics to keep the song flowing at times. Fair enough. So check out the video for 24Herbs latest release, “Hu Ge”:
For a whole song dedicated to big cans, is it too much to ask for some properly voluptuous women instead of anorexic, FLAT Russian girls from model agency Starz People, who pretend they can do sexy dance? Although the definition of ‘Hu Ge Clea Va Ge’ might be different here than in other parts of the world, we think not. FAIL.

I find the group’s name completely appropriate … though I wonder whether any of them know the meaning of the term “herb” and how it’s used in the US hiphop scene.
A bit like local parents bestowing names like Kinki and Alkie on their daughters, I guess.

There may not be many big tits in the video but there’s certainly a lot of massive twats.

Well if they want big tits they could have as ME to help with my G cup titties seeing I’m only 2 degrees away! lol.
@lucas 24herbs is a chinese medicine drink infused with 24 different herbs which means the group members are from all over the place i guess.
Anyways, their songs are just weak and are total copy materials. No record labels will sign em if they have no connections. No originality whatsoever.
They should at least be more humble and stop acting like such an @ss.

Just says something about the local music scene when a bunch of dudes can dress up as wannabe rappers, put this kind of stuff out AND get popular for it… don’t know whether to applaud their ability to exploit the market or diss the obviously cr@p music they put out… Thinking about this is a waste of energy. -Maybe I should just STFU!!
