Tweet tweet! Last Saturday the Hong Kong Twestival 2009 took place and of course the Dark Side was there to observe and mingle with the Twitter geeks people of this town. In order to entertain the mostly gweilo/gweipo crowd, the organization went all the way: a lucky draw, a live Twitter (#twesthk) stream, stand-up comedians (who unfortunately preferred to speak Cantonese) and of course plenty of alcohol in order to make conversations about Twitter slightly less unbearable.

Things got a little more interesting when all of a sudden The Dark Side showed up on the live Twitter feed and people started asking questions (see here, here, here, and here). Sorry folks, we do value being anonymous! Since the official ‘twitpics’ aren’t up yet and we desperately want to provide you with an impression of the festivities, here are some shots we found online already (including a few very nice ‘titpics’), thanks to two visitors who put them up on Facebook.
