Poor Hongkie girls stranded in Europe

As flights from and to Europe have slowly started to resume again, SCMP brings us the heartbreaking story of several Hongkie girls trapped in London today. First the story of Vivienne Chow is presented, who went to London for a holiday and has now found support from three other HK girls who are stuck, of which one has diarrhea (thanks SCMP). One of these girls, Peggie Lee Pik-kei, is a flight attendant. As with most of these Cathay girls, they should not be allowed to speak too much: four paragraphs of ranting follow, in which our government is blamed for not doing enough.

It is argued that the government should reserve flights to take all stranded HK people home or even charter boats to take them to ports from which flights are possible again. Lee got especially angry when she read about Gordon’s Ark, the British plan to send navy ships to for example France to pick up stranded Brits. Where is our navy goddammit? Ah yes, our government (which would be the Chinese government, as they are in charge of military affairs for our little SAR) should indeed send warships to come pick your little ass up. You might have to get in line here as well though.
